Tanner

Tanner was rescued by PMR in August 2004 (special thanks to Jackie) in Texas.  We were chosen as Tanner's forever home and drove to Dallas to pick him up from Jackie the first weekend in December 2004.  Tanner immediately came to us and gave us kisses.  He is such a lover.  Tanner has been busy the last 2 years traveling with us doing transports for PMR.  He has been to Dallas, Indianapolis, Virginia, Kentucky and Florida.  Tanner gets along with all beings, humans included.  He is the first to welcome a new foster and shows them how to play and what freedom is all about.  He will share his toys, his blankets and his bed but he will not share his treats, lol.  Tanner is the first in line for treats and the first one in line for seconds.  Mom has to count out the exact number and reseal the container.  Tanner is in good health suffering from seasonal allergies and mild collapsing trachea.  Tanner also has anxiety episodes when we have storms.  We have discovered that Vitamin B drops will calm him down so that he doesn't pace and pant.  He will settle down in his bed and relax.  Tanner enjoys his fenced garden.  He has dug several holes searching for Mr. Chipmunk, who by the way, sits outside the fence and laughs at him and the others.  Tanner's favorite place to go is the drive in theatre.   He loves to walk and explore.  Tanner loves to play with squeaky toys.  He will squeak them for hours until he is too tired or he has broken the squeaker.

Tanner shares his home with big brother Joshua (YTNR), younger sister Regan (PMR) and cousin Rodney (BYB).  Current fosters are Arielle, Phoenix and Brandy.  Tanner is very instrumental in the rehabilitation of the fosters because of his own experiences.  Thank you PMR for saving Tanner and allowing us the privilege of being his forever home.

Life is good,
Jamie and Ken Knight
