"Barbie Doll"

Barbi has her own web Page

Barbie was my angel on earth.

She brought such joy to our lives, made me
smile every day. For those of you who don't know Barbie's story she's on
page six on the "Home At Last" page of the website.

Barbie was here only a year when we discovered she had bladder cancer and
they gave her a six months to year and that was a year and a half ago, so
she was a strong little girl.

She had to be to make it through 10 years in a Missouri
 puppymill.

She fought this cancer hard and up to the beginning of this
month you would never have known anything was wrong.
My heart feels so empty, and I hope that each day my memories of her will
fill it up till I see her again one day.

June 21 2005

Precious did finally have her very own Mommy & Daddy and she did not die alone in a dark corner of a puppymill.

A wonderful little soul placed here on earth,
With hope from the loving Father above for her to have a beautiful life.

But not to be so for many long years, she lived each long day
in the dark cold place called "mills."

No love did she have, no tender touch or soft bed, barely enough to eat,
just the terrible smells, and the cries in the night from those other little ones
that shared her plight.

No comforting hands, no hugs and kisses, no one to tell her that she was loved,
this little one suffered, day in, day out, at the rough uncaring hands of the mill.

And then one day, when all hope was fading, two wonderful angels came,
and called her by name.

Come here to us little Precious sweet one, we are taking you home, where you will be
loved and cared for, beyond anything you have dreamed.

Don't be afraid, you have nothing more to fear, we will hold you and love you,
and wash away your tears.

You will have a nice warm dry bed, lots of good food, toys and friends; we will love you forever, our dear sweet little one.

And so it was, these angels spoke the truth; a new life unfolded, and Precious was in awe.

She began to trust this new life of hers, with wonderment at all of the love and nurturing; people really could be nice.

She became her ownself, with nothing to fear, she loved her human angel, her dear foster Mom, and kept her near.

And so it went, a wonderful new life, but Precious knew she was waiting, waiting for her own special Mom and Dad of her own, that her dear angel Foster Mom told her so often about.

Precious felt the excitement, something was about to happen, a new family in her life, and so she waited, trying to be patient, after all, what was a little more time.

The big day arrived, and there they were, her new Mom and Dad, with a new life to share.

Her Angel Foster Mom, whispered in her ear, it is all right, go along dear one, your family is here.

Precious cuddled in the arms of her new Mom and Dad. They loved her so dearly, and vowed to give her a wonderful forever life, with not a thing to fear.

But sadly sweet Precious became gravely ill, everyone tried to save her life but it wasn't to be. She heard her Mother's voice, and gave a little bark, I love you dear Mom and Dad, and so peacefully she died in her Daddy's arms, surrounded by love.

Don't worry Mom and Dad, I will see you again, some day on the bridge, I will watch for you to come.

Until then I thank you, and love you so much, please know that I will be watching over you, and remembering your gentle touch.

It is beautiful here, I am with lots of my friends, we have plenty to eat, we run and have a lot of fun in the most glorious warm sun. Angels are around us all of the day, and at bedtime they tuck us in and say, "sweet dreams little ones."

So try not to be too sad, dear Mom and Dad, you have some more work to do down there.
You will know when it is time to please help save some of my brothers and sisters from life at the mill.

You will never know, how much you have meant to me, in this beautiful short time I was with you. But for me, it was a lifetime, you see, you took away my memories of the mill, so that all I remember, is your tender love and good will.

Lovingly dedicated to the memory of Precious, my little pal

Enid Yonker, PMR Mom to Meghan, Justin, Tess
Mom to Emily, and rescue babies Jack and Bobby

In Memory of another little angel, our sweet Missie, at the bridge

Precious was helped to the Bridge today in the loving arms of her very own Daddy. She became ill quite suddenly and had an autoimmune disorder, similar to human leukemia. Her Loving Mama, Cary was nearby. She had been home for only twelve days.
Precious was very happy in her new home. I think she waited until she had that loving family that knew she was the Queen of the house. I wish she could have stayed with us awhile longer. Precious always did things her own way to the very end.
Thank you Cary and Darrell for fulfilling Precious Dreams. When Cary saw her this morning, she barked and rallied for her. She let Cary know that she loved her, that she was Mama.

Sweet Dreams little one,

Jan Smith

The love of our lives has
gone to the Rainbow Bridge. We all miss him so terribly, he was taken from us to
soon.
I still just can't believe he's gone.
Tears are flowing as I try to type this. He was too young and we had too
many more years we needed to be together to play. I know he's waiting at the
gate for us but, it doesn't make it feel any better now. Well, I just thought
you should know, and again thanks for the time we did have we him. His
beginning in this world was ruff but, he was happy in the end. The Bailey's

" Emma Leigh"

On Thursday night, Emma seemed fine she was tucked her in bed.
My beautiful Emma Leigh went to the bridge in her sleep. ( her Mommy)

"She was beautiful but she was the worse I saw that came from a mill in the way that she could hardly walk, her muscles in her hind legs were so weak from being in a cage.
I believe when PMR saved her she was around 6 years old. So when she went to the bridge she was only 8 1/2 years old. She never did get enough muscle tone to go up and down steps.

She had the sweetest disposition. Everyone that met her could not help but fall in love
with her. "   Doris

GOD SPEED, WEE PRINCE WILLIAM!! YOU WERE LOVED!
February 12 2005

Wee Willy was our very special little man, weighing in at 2 lb 9 oz. When we adopted him from PMR at the age of 11, we knew his time with us could be limited. But, we were lucky, we got to love and hold him for over three years. Wee Willy never did get to be a puppy like so many mill survivors do. He was so crippled that he never did run, play with toys or do all those happy things. All he did get to do was to be loved, petted and pampered and that was enough. There has never been a sweeter borrowed angel on the entire universe. His life was devoted to giving and receiving love. He cast a spell on everybody he met and nobody could resist the way he would look up at you, compelling you to "pick me up". On Saturday, February 12, 2005, he crossed over to the Bridge. The vision that we keep seeing is Wee Prince William running and running and playing at the Bridge with all the others who have gone before him. He is now happy and pain free. No longer crippled, no longer old. Have fun, Wee Willy. We shall meet again. We love you and miss you so very much.

Julie  2/4/04

I'm writing you now to give you the sad news that I
lost Julie yesterday. I had to let her pass on to
Rainbow Bridge. She was very sick with cancer. It
broke my heart to have to let her go. She was such a
sweet dog. She followed me everywhere!! She was my
love bunny. I miss her sooo much!

Amy,  had adopted the 2 labs-Julie and Cornpopper-
we brought back to Pa from MO.  Those babies were 6 and 8 (I believe) when we rescued them--but they both looked and seemed much older from their horrible lives in the mill.

November  22, 2004.

JJ,  (Bubba)

On November 22, 2004, at approximately 2:30 am, a very special borrowed angel arrived at the Bridge. I am sure he was met by a host of other angels that knew immediately who he was and where he came from and gave him the most fantastic welcome. Our special foster senior, Bubba (AKA JJ) left our loving world and his loving foster family totally unexpectedly and very quickly. We are still in a state of shock and disbelief. Bubba was a pleasure to have around. Never a problem, never a worry, always smiling, no matter what. This old man had such a zest for life, it was unreal. He was happy just BEING ALIVE. We did everything possible to ensure that our Bubba had the most wonderful life possible, but, fate stepped in and ended his freedom way too soon. Bubba’s freedom only lasted a very short ten months. Even though he never was officially adopted, we now feel Bubba was in his special forever home that he picked out for himself. He will stay in our hearts and our minds forever.

We want to send a special thanks to everybody who loved Bubba. Due to his many, many friends and admirers who sent him special gifts and toys and presents and made donations for his medical treatments, Bubba had everything any pup could ever want and more. He was cherished by not only his foster family, but by many, many PMR members and others who knew him. I know he is up there smiling and happy now. Out of pain and just waiting to reunite with all of us when it is time.

Thank you Jean, Cindy and Donna for giving Bubba the chance to enjoy the time he had left and to learn what love and life was all about. And, thank you Jackie for bringing him all the way from NC to TX so we could provide him with a foster home.

RIP dear Bubba. We love you so much here at the North Texas Pom Palace. Foster Mom and Dad (Linda and Dick) and the rest of the pack………..Tuffy; Happy; Wee Willy; Wee Princess; Sassy Pants; and Lil Britches. Sassy Pants sends her very special love to her soul mate and she misses you terribly.

Sent a donation tribute in memory of o Bubba (aka JJ), Linda Landers' sweet baby that passed away.

Andrea

Zoe (aka Andrea). I'm sad to say that my precious baby had passed and is waiting for us over the bridge. I'm  sure you know I did everything possible to save her but her kidneys gave out and we just couldn't pull her through. I will miss her dearly.

Hollie,

On September 18, 2004, Hollie, a very precious and special little
silky girl, rescued from a horrible Missouri puppy mill, went to live with her new forever family, Megan Gentry and Judy (Gentry) Silver, and kittky cats Thor and Pixel.
They renamed Hollie, Kikyo.

Despite many, many years of neglect and abuse, Kikyo loved to be
held and cuddled.
Kikyo brought much happiness and love to her new family. I loved to read updates about this sweet baby girl, and to talk to her new family on the phone. You could just hear the love they felt for this wonderful survivor.

Sadly, Miss Kikyo went to the rainbow bridge last night. She was
with her family. Although her time free from the mills was short,
she gave and recieved unconditional love - the kind that touches the heart forever.

Please extend your thoughts and prayers to Judy, Megan, Thor and Pixel at this very sad time.

It is with great sadness that another PMR Baby has left on her final journey.

Debra Masters adopted PMR Candy 4 years ago, she was 12 years old at the time.
Today Sweet Candy made her final journey to join the other PMR Babies who have gone before her. Candy was 16 years old. Sweet Candy's body just gave out.
Candy's life the past year had been such a delightful time for her, Debra and family.
Rest in peace sweet Candy and know how very much you were loved.
