Just wanted to let everyone know that Abbi is settling into her forever home
very nicely. She is doing great with potty training. It has taken her a
little longer to warm up to her new Dad but she is getting closer to him
every day. She loves exploring her BIG back yard with her little sister
Gazoo. They are getting along great as you can see by the pictures. Here
they are both trying get a nap on Mom's lap. It's kind of hard to get any
work done this way but I love when they want to cuddle.

Also take notice of Abbi's tail in the picture of her alone , IT"S UP!!!

Thank again

Subject: [PMRFOSTER] Abbi's new home

Abbi went to her new home in Florida yesterday (Sat.
4/9) We met Sheri (new mom) at the airport at
9:15am.
Abbi was a little slow in warming up to her new
mom, but we knew she would be. Sheri, however, was
beaming > long before she ever met her new little girl.
They had only an hour and a half to catch their flight
home. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on
who you ask) we didn't realize how long it would take to
get through the line at the ticket counter and,
because we lost track of time, she missed her
flight. So, the airline booked her on the 12:00. That gave
us > all another hour to get acquainted which calmed Abbi
quite a bit. Then, the stewardesses, captivated by
the beautiful Abbi, bumped them up to business class
which gave them a lot more room. Abbi and her new
mom then had to face layover in Atlanta. Sheri checked
with the ticket counter and was able to get an
earlier flight into Florida and just so happened to get on
the same plane as the original flight attendants they
met earlier that day. They couldn't move her to
business class, but they did put her in a seat where they had
the whole row to themselves. So, Abbi was able to
get out of the carrier and spend the whole flight in her
mom's lap. In the car on the way home, Abbi was
able to look out the (closed) window. And, what do you
know, her tail went up. When she got home, her new
little sister, Gazoo, rushed to meet her. Both
tails were straight up. Gazoo thought it must be
Christmas, because, not only did she get a new sister, but
there > was also a whole new crop of toys. Now, at this
point, Abbi has NOT had a single "accident" through
out the entire travel process. And she wasn't about
to start now. Sheri let her out in the backyard
where > she took care of ALL of her business. They all
slept in the family bed and Abbi woke her new dad up at
6:00 to let him know that she need to go outside again.
I always knew that Abbi had more in her than anyone
could have imagined. Here are a few pictures from the morning.
