Subject: [PR-Team-PMR] Brief Note

All,

You hear from my wife, Lori, all the time in your group. I just
wanted to take a few minutes and tell you what a fantastic thing it is that you
all do.

Until I was introduced to your site, I was not aware of the puppy
mill situations. I wish that I could adopt every single dog that I see
come across your web site. Since I can't, I cherish every single second I
have with the two we have adopted, PMR Christopher and PMR Frannie Mae.

They bring so much joy to our lives. I really can't imagine what life
would be like without them. I'll be away from them for a year, but they will
always be in my heart and on my mind, as will Bacchus and Prancer. (Yes, and
obviously my lovely wife!) I truly do appreciate you all allowing
Lori topost pictures on your web site.

Every time I get the chance I tell folks over here about your organization.

I don't know if anyone will ever act on
what I tell them, but even if only one out of a hundred does, that's
two lives that will be better (both human and canine). That's about all I
have for now. Again, I admire all that everyone does, from the organizers
to the rescuers, to the fosters and forever moms and dads. I'm proud to be
one as well.

Very Respectfully,
Dave Stevens

Frannie Mae and Christopher

Lori and Dave , Thank You for the big boxs of donations.......my gang checking them out!.

Update for Frannie Mae and Christopher, together in their forever home.

Frannie was one of the first faces I saw on PMR and I knew right away that
she belonged with us! I had just recently lost one of my precious Poms due
to an allergic reaction to his vaccines and thought that my heart would
never heal. Something about Fannie's eyes spoke to me, full of sadness from
all of the babies she's lost, or rather, been taken away. I had to have this
little girl so I could fill her life with happiness and see those beautiful
eyes sparkle as they were meant to.

Christopher was the one that my husband saw on the PMR website and it was
love at first site! We thought that he would be adopted very quickly though
since he was still a pup and oh so cute! Frannie was already with us and
several more months passed, but little Christopher was STILL looking for his
forever home. Well we knew what we needed to do, we pressed that "adopt"
button one more time.

Christopher was a little harder to convince that he would be loved and never
hurt again, but he's doing better everyday. He actually lets me walk up to
him and bend down to kiss him on the head, he even looks at me when I do it.
He always used to turn his face away and become stiff when we would come
near him. Now he lets me pick him up, kiss him, turn him over on his back to
rub his belly...things a dog, that's never lived through the hell that these
puppymill dogs, would let you do.

Frannie Mae is definitely the queen of the house, when she barks we ALL
listen! She is one special little lady and she just keeps getting more
beautiful everyday. She gets those Pomeranian "energy spurts" and starts
bouncing all over the living room. Her favorite time of the day is dinner
time, they get wet food for dinner! She barks and dances the whole time I'm
preparing their food, then runs to the door to go outside and pee pee when
she's finished.

These little angels have made our family complete. I have no regrets in
adopting a PMR dog, I will do it again in the future. These animals have
given me far more than I could ever give in return. They have put the smile
back on my face and hope in my heart that there will one day be no PMR,
because there will be no more puppy mills. Until that day I'll keep spreading
the word about the plight of these animals and urge people to rescue a life
instead of putting more money into the pockets of the millers.

Thank you PMR from the bottom of my heart, for all that you've done and all
that you continue to do. And a special thanks to Linda and Jackie, fosters
to Frannie Mae and Christopher. You ladies helped to make Frannie and
Christopher who they are today, I can't thank you enough.

Lori and Dave Stevens,
Mom and Dad to Bacchus, Prancer, PMR Frannie Mae, PMR Christopher, and
feline brothers Jaspurr and Shimley
In loving memory of Major and Max
