UPDATE ON DUDLEY 9/1/04

Hello everybody, it’s me Dudley!

Well, I finally did it. I got to my forever home. It’s just swell. My Mom thinks I am just the best little guy in the world. (You know most moms do.) I love her lots too. I also have a new buddy that lives there, her name is Minnie. She is pretty cool for being a senior girl.

Mom is teaching me to run in the back yard. She lets me chase her so my legs get stronger. We don’t do it too long because I get tired and my Mom is not a spring chicken (what ever that is. I heard her say that). Any how when I start to run faster I can go visit my Foster Mom, Jackie P and her little girl, Happy. Then I will be able to chase Happy. She runs very fast you know. I miss them both. You better watch out Happy.

I sure do like all the attention and pampering I get. We go for walks in the evening when things cool down. I am not really into the leash thing yet so Mom carries me and I just take in all the sites and new smells. Minnie likes to walk though. I might do it with her one of these days. Mom just keeps telling me how good I am and take one day at a time.

The other day I was laying all stretched out on one of my beds chewing on my Greenie (I love those Greenies) and I looked up and saw some wet stuff on my Mom’s face. She told me not to worry. She said she was just so happy that I was with her and that she was so sorry for all the pain that I had to endure in my little life before I was rescued. She said she was so happy that a wonderful woman named Robin found me and saved me. Hey me too!

Thanks Robin, Jackie P., Jean, Leslie and all the other terrific people that got me to my MOM!!!! I LOVE YOU!! Consider yourselves kissed by me, DUDLEY the KISSING MACHINE.

Dudley left for home just a few minutes ago. He is going to
be very happy in his new home. Cyndy just loves him so
much. I'll miss him, but I know he will be well taken care
of. Good by my sweet boy.

From our website when he was up for adoption.

I'm a pretty laid
back little yorkie. I'm now trying to play with the pups
here, but haven't figured out exactly what to do yet. I was
dancing around putting my butt in their faces, foster mom
was laughing so hard. I don't know what was so funny. She
didn't get a picture of it cause the camera wasn't handy for
once. She keeps taking pictures of me, I wish she would
STOP, a guy can't do anything around here without her taking
a picture.

When we first rescued him..........

Dudley weighs in at 5 pounds. We have to soak his feet and put Neosporin on them. Feet are due to the years that they spent on the wire.

Tiny male Yorkie very very burned feet, we are treating for pain and infection.

Look at his teeth !
