Blossom

Blossom and her new mommy
Someone asked about how Blossom is
doing, I just want to
tell you that she is doing just wonderful. You would never
know she had a liver shunt and had surgery. She has just
bounced back to life. She is so funny, she now smiles, I
wish I could get a picture of her doing it, but I can't.
She is very hard to get a picture of because every time I
get the camera out, she wants in my lap. I did get a side
view of her tonight, so I'm attaching it. She bounces
around the house now, plays with toys, runs outside in the
yard, barks like she weighs 50 pounds and Blaze has even
gotten her to play with him. When I got her, she weighed
4.1 pounds, she now weighs 6 pounds. So I would say she is
feeling so much better.
I have some great news, she has been adopted. Her new mom
will be flying in on Wed to get her. Blossom will be living
in Canada with a wonderful family and will have one fur
brother. Barbara, her new mom saw her picture on PMR and
fell in love with her and wanted to give her a wonderful
life. I will miss this little girl, we have been through a
lot together these last few months, but I know she will have
a wonderful life with her new family.
Blossom wants to thank everyone who said prayers for her and
to those of you that donated toward her surgery and most of
all to PMR for helping with the cost of her surgery, without
PMR and those of you who donated, it
would not have been possible.
Here's to Blossom and her new life. Have a good one, sweet
girl, you deserve so much. You will be missed by your
foster mom.

Surgery Picture
Thursday Aug 19th update
"Blossom" was in surgery for 3.5 hours today, it took a long time to find
where her Liver Shunt was located!., it was up near her spine, the wonderful
surgeons sealed it and she is expected to make a full recovery and be back
at her foster moms on Saturday......

This is Blossom, she is a 2 year
old 4 1/2 pound Yorkie with Liver
Shunt.
One of the problems she had when I got her to foster was excessive
peeing so I took her to the dogtor to have her checked for
kidney or bladder problems.
